Outside London: The Crown at Bray

Saturday we had a lovely, warm day so we decided to have a small road trip to Bray, which is a very charming English village about half an hour from London. We firstly went for lunch at The Crown at Bray, a 14th century traditional pub with a lovely garden. I love this type of old pubs that have managed to keep their amazing, complex architecture and charm.

The food was delicious as well. I know the photo below might horrify some vegetarians but I just had to take a picture of it.

After lunch we went for a walk and found this lovely green field where we kinda just sat (took a nap) before heading back home.the crown at bray

For the trip I wore this summery, vintage dress I got from a boutique in Paris. Although when I bought it, there were still about 2 degrees in London, I just had this vision of wearing it somewhere on a beach with no shoes on and wind flying through my hair.
Do you sometimes get this type of visions where you just know exactly how you would wear a certain piece of clothing the moment you see it in the shop? Please tell me yes so I know I`m not crazy :)

  5. Wow, those pictures are amazing. The picture of the field of flowers is breathtaking. And that vintage dress is great. I'm the same way about clothing. I'll buy a coat in July because I can envision how cute it'll look one day in December!
