Travel in Style: Four Seasons Marrakech Hotel Review

On our trip to Marrakech we chose to stay at the beautiful Four Seasons resort which was a bit further away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but still only a 10 mins taxi ride which was perfect for us as we were in major need of a relaxing holiday. The service and staff were superb and extremely helpful with the highlight being when my boyfriend lost his allergy medication in the middle of the night and they sent someone to a pharmacy especially to buy the pills and bring them to our room. Talk about great service! I`m definitely looking forward to going back at some point in the future to Marrakech and I wouldn`t mind at all staying again at this fantastic place.
1. The room (19/20)

The room was absolutely lovely and quite large. As the rest of the hotel the room is a mixture between the standard Four Seasons colours and Moroccan influences such as the lamps, the doors, mirrors, and so on, which gave the room a very luxurious and exotic feel. I also really liked that we had a balcony with courtyard view and a comfy sofa- perfect for lazy mornings.

2. The breakfast & other dining options (14/20)

I loved the selection of Moroccan pastries in the morning and the sweet peppermint tea although it would have been good to have an a la carte menu as well for more hot dishes.

3. The pool, garden & surroundings (20/20)

When we arrived at the hotel we were welcomed with sweet peppermint tea which helped fill our addiction to this incredible tea for the next couple of days. The interior and the gardens are absolutely beautiful and very well kept, and throughout the hotel there are hundreds of red roses everywhere which makes the whole entire place smell gorgeous.

I also loved that there were two pools: one for families and a quiet pool quite far from each other. Most hotels now separate the family section from the quiet section, however the two are usually adjacent which doesn`t really help neither families nor those looking for a more tranquil space so I really liked how well designed was the Four Seasons one. The pool had the perfect length and depth- great for laps or in my case learning how to swim. This was probably the best pool of 2013.
