A Lunch to Remember: Fera at Claridges

The Fera at Claridge`s restaurant has been on my wishlist since it opened last year and I must say it did not disappoint. The restaurant has gained a Michelin star but the lunch menu is still an amazing deal at only £30 per person for 3 courses with beautiful food. Some really clever techniques and combinations, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone to try it at least once.

Both the boy and I ordered the same starter which is the smoked yolk with kohlrabi and truffle oil. Really beautiful dish that represented the start of a great meal.

The boy had then the cod which, after his words, was "the best fish dish I ever had". Sometimes it`s really hard to get impressed by a fish dish as main course but this one was amazing.

The pork belly was lovely but I always find pork belly too heavy and after tasting the boy`s fish dish it was hard to keep my attention on my dish :).

For dessert we had a sort of chocolate mousse with ice cream and an apple cake with ice cream. The apple cake definitely stole the show with some gorgeous flavours.
